Finding the right job or applicant shouldn’t cost you so much time and money.
No one should ever be forced to hire from a small pool of people, hoping one of them will be a good fit. No one should ever be pressured to choose a workplace that isn’t rewarding or isn’t a good fit.
As the owner of The Barber School in Midvale, Utah, I can relate to these issues. I’ve watched our graduates struggle to find work that suits them. I’ve also witnessed many alumni lose revenue because they couldn’t find the right barber to fill an open chair.
And this isn’t just our story, but that of many others as well. Salons and shops across the country are struggling to find that right fit… and we’re going to help them get this problem solved.
What Inspired Me to Start
Hair for Hire
In 2015, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer. As a cancer survivor, I owe a great deal to John Huntsman Sr., who believed that true success means helping others achieve their own success. Through that belief, he founded the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I received life-saving treatment that has kept me in remission and alive today.
I’ve never forgotten his lesson. The purpose of achieving success is not only material gain but also increasing our ability to help others. And I want to help you.
