What is Hair for Hire and who is it for?
Hair for Hire is a job-matching platform built exclusively for the beauty and wellness industry. We connect licensed professionals, including barbers, hairstylists, estheticians, nail techs, and more, with employers, suite owners, and educators. If you’re looking for your next job, a new hire, or a class to expand your skills, you’re in the right place.
To get started, download the app and create your personal profile. You’ll enter basic information (name, location, email, phone), set your password, and then build your professional profile. This acts as your resume and portfolio, so be sure to upload a photo, list your skills, link your social media, and showcase your work. Once your profile is active, you can apply for jobs, receive invitations, and chat directly with hiring salons, spas, or barbershops.
After signing up and creating your business profile, tap the + button in the middle of the app. You can either use our AI Assistant to generate a job listing for you (based on your website and the role you’re hiring for), or write your own post manually. Add details about the position, required skills, and your business vibe. Once posted, you can manage applicants, invite professionals to apply, and message candidates directly within the app.
Our AI-powered system takes the guesswork out of hiring and job searching. For employers, it recommends candidates who match your job criteria based on skills, location, and profile content. For professionals, it shows you open roles that align with your expertise and preferences. It’s designed to save time, cut through noise, and help you make the right connection faster.
Yes! You can update your personal or business profile at any time. For candidates, tap the profile icon and select “Edit” to make changes. For business owners, go to your Business Profile, tap on the Jobs tab, and select the listing you want to update. From there, you can edit details, manage invitations, view applications, or remove the listing entirely.
Hair for Hire is completely free for licensed professionals to create a profile, browse jobs, and apply. Employers and suite owners pay to post jobs, suite rentals, or education listings. If you have a promo code for a free listing, you’ll still need to enter payment info to complete the post, but your code will be applied automatically.
